The Viva exam for the Commerce section of XII has been scheduled on the following dates - 22/02/2021(8.30a.m) 24/02/21(8a.m.) & 26/02/2021(8a.m.). Students will be released from the school as and when their individual Viva exam is over.

Dear parents and guardians, It saddens us to mention that even after the Supreme Court granted fee waiver and last date of payment (30th November 2020), there are yet some parents who are still not paying their fees on time. Therefore you are all requested to pay your fees till January 2021, by 1st February 2021, else your wards will be debarred (stopped) from the daily online classes and any tests and exams that the school conducts henceforth. Dear Parents & Guardians, Hope you are all safe and keeping well by the grace of the Almighty. I take this opportunity to inform you that following the Honourable Supreme Court’s directive, we have waived off 20% from the School’s monthly fees and Session fees. In doing so, our calculations show that the school ends at a loss. In the history of our school, Ling Liang has always helped the needy students to the best of its capabilities and it has always found full support from the Parents & Guardians. Hence, we are sending an appeal to our Parents & Guardians that if you feel God’s blessings have still kept you capable to pay 100% fees, then kindly do so and support the school in these strange and difficult times. This act of kindness will definitely help in the smooth functioning of the school. We will also put up the names of the students in our website, whose Parents & Guardians continue to pay full fees. Since the bank will only accept 80% fee amount from 16th November 2020 onwards, hence Parents & Guardians who are willing to pay full fees may do so via A/C payee cheques (kindly mention the student's name and code number IN PEN at the reverse of the cheque), which they can drop it in the Drop-box kept in the school. The account payee cheque will be in the name of Ling Liang High School. Such Parents & Guardians are also requested to fill a Consent Letter, given in the school website, and drop it in the Drop box, along with the Account Payee cheque. Parents and Guardians who do not wish to ask for refund of excess 20% fees already paid, may also fill the same consent letter and drop it in the Drop box in school. Dear Parents/Guardians, It is a fact that this pandemic has really affected all stratas of society (the school and its teachers included), the school is not in a very safe situation financially. The school has always believed in spreading quality education in as low fees as possible. It has always believed in not burdening the parents with extra financial strain, which is why the school always negotiates with the booksellers so that the parents can avail high discounts.The school had also decided not to raise fees, not to charge late fee fines till September 2020 and to allow the parents to pay the session fee  at any time between April 2020 to March 2021, so that the guardians are not put into great financial strain. The school is simply asking for tuition fees and not any extra charges, like in the case of some schools. Since the lockdown the teachers have worked tirelessly too, with not only preparing and teaching online classes but even addressing questions and queries from students at all times of the day. They have bravely and sincerely carried on to do their duty of teaching students. But they are humans too and they too feel sad and demoralised at times.  Just like it is true that there are a few guardians who are really needy and the school is willing to extend whatever help it can towards them if they write and inform the school with proof, about their severe conditions, so also it is true that there are a lot of guardians on whom the Almighty's grace and blessings are still present. It is a fervent request to all such parents to kindly clear their dues, as the school will not be able to continue on much further  if this situation continues. Dear Students. I hope everyone of you and your families are in good health. The Council, in consideration for your health and safety, has decided to give the candidates, appearing for ICSE and ISC 2020 Examinations, the option of choosing one of the following : 1. That you may choose to appear for the remaining examinations as scheduled by the Council. 2. Or you may choose not to appear for the remaining examinations as scheduled by the Council. If you happen to choose to not appear for the remaining exams, then the Council is going to assess you according to the Pre-Board/Rehearsal Exam that you have appeared in your school. In the event that the Council is unable to conduct the exams (due to seen or unseen forces), then the students' marks in their Pre-Board/Rehearsal Exams will be assessed. It must be noted that the above steps will only be taken in the cases of those subjects for which the examinations could not be conducted. In the case of the other subjects, for which the exams were conducted successfully, the students will be marked according to their performances in those exams. All students are hereby notified to inform the school about their decisions via applications/emails, by 17th June, 2020. You must address your application to the Principal and mention your name, class and Unique ID. Attention dear Parents and Guardians. The Report Cards of the last Academic Session and the new Fee Books of all classes will be distributed on 15th and 16 June, 2020. The new Exercise copies will also be available at the same time, at the school premise. The specific timings will be given in the WhatsApp Group of individual classes. Must bring along a photocopy of their Electoral ID or Aadhaar Card, with their ward's name written on it, alongwith the original. 2. To carry the exact amount for the payment of Exercise copies. Dear Parents and Guardians, The sudden Coronavirus pandemic has thrown everybody’s life upside down. The Management of Ling Liang High School, understanding the difficult situations, has tried its level best to help you all by:- 1. Not raising the school fees. 2. Removing late fee fines till 30th September 2020. 3. Allowing the Session fees to be paid on a later date in the 2020-21 Academic Session. 4. Allowing the Class 11 students and new admission candidates to only pay Admission fee and April 2020 fee (instead of asking them to pay the whole year’s fee in advance) and to pay the rest of the fees on a monthly basis. 5. By quickly training our staff on how to take classes via WhatsApp and Google Classroom, so as to keep the students in touch with studies. It is a well-known fact that without the Moral and Monetary support from the parents and guardians, a school cannot survive or develop.
